Steven Reilly
and his family have been living off the grid
since 1994. It started with one solar panel, a
present that brought many others. Throughout
the years, the solar house was transformed, re-engineered to be much more energy efficient,
leaving little if no carbon footprint.
Steven's background rests on a solid knowledge
of automotive power, engines, some heat &
refrigeration (College Education) and an unusual
understanding of physics, natural forces and
engineering. Steven is an Estate Manager who has
been organizing and empowering a large Estate
with many buildings surrounding an Adirondack
Lodge. The whole Estate is off the grid, but
Steven turned it into an energy-efficient,
independent, self-reliant beautiful place.
Steven Reilly has experience installing
photo-voltaic panels, evacuated tubes and
engineering solar systems that function very
well. Steven is able to help others find more
effective and independent ways of heating their
place.
Ice storms that have paralyzed whole regions go
barely noticed here, as we never lost power!
